<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dye-sensitized solar cell having a high structure stability and a high mechanical strength while using a low-cost material as a material for a counter electrode.SOLUTION: A counter electrode 2 arranged opposedly to a photoelectrode 1 consisting of a semiconductor layer supporting a sensitization dye while interposing an electrolyte layer 3 has such a structure that a carbon nano layer is fixed to a titanium base substance by a binder. The carbon nano layer is formed by a carbon nano-tube. A lot of binder is distributed at a side close to the base substance, and a small quantity of binder is distributed at a side close to the photoelectrode 1. The carbon nano-tube has defects in a crystal structure. A lot of defects are provided at a side close to the photoelectrode 1, and a small quantity of defects are provided at a side close to the base substance.</p> |
