<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate type tension giving device capable of effectively laying fuzz of yarn while giving tension to the yarn, and a yarn winder.SOLUTION: A gate type tension giving device 3 gives tension to yarn Y by bending the traveling yarn Y, and comprises: a first gate body 30; and a second gate body 40 which is arranged on the opposite side of the first gate body 30 on both sides of a travel path, and provided in the first gate body 30 to be movable in opening/closing directions. First tension members 32 are arranged in the first gate body 30, a plurality of second tension members 42 are arranged in the second gate body 40 in parallel along a travel path direction D, and arranged so as to alternately engage into each other in a closed state. At least a part of the first and second tension members 32, 42 is arranged so that intervals between the first and second adjacent tension members 32, 42 in the travel path direction D become unequal intervals in the closed state.</p> |
