TRANSMISSION POWER CONTROLLER AND TRANSMISSION POWER CONTROL METHOD IN MOBILE AD-HOC NETWORK CLUSTERING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission power controller and transmission power control method in mobile ad-hoc network clustering for suppressing increase in power consumption and packet loss, by performing communication with low transmission power.SOLUTION: A cluster head comprises: a cluster construction/next transmission power determination information collection unit which constructs a cluster and collects information for determining transmission power to a member node; a next transmission power estimation unit for estimating the transmission power by using transmission power control information from the cluster construction/next transmission power determination information collection unit; and a transmission power change and notification unit for performing transmission power change and notification of the change by using next transmission power information from the next transmission power estimation unit. The member node comprises: a cluster construction/next transmission power determination information transmission unit which constructs the cluster and transmits information for determining transmission power to a member node in the cluster; and a transmission power change and reception/transfer unit for performing transmission power change and its reception/transfer by using next transmission power determination information from the next transmission power determination information transmission unit.
