<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a network loop during stack port failures in a ring network.SOLUTION: A data transfer unit system belonging to a ring network system includes a first data transfer unit and a second data transfer unit. The first data transfer unit has a first port connected to the second data transfer unit, a second port connected to a data transfer unit in the network system other than the second data transfer unit and a third port connected to the outside of the network system. The first data transfer unit controls transmission and reception of data by the second port and the third port based on attribute of the data transfer unit system, attribute of the first data transfer unit, attribute of the third port, a state of the third port and a reception condition of control data when detecting communication failure of the first port.</p> |
