Generally this disclosure describes noise elimination in a gesture recognition system. A method may include configuring a preprocessor for a gesture recognition module based, at least in part, on a gesture type, the gesture recognition module related to a gesture; generating a first contact history vector in response to a first touch event, the first touch event based on a first contact with a touch screen; providing the first touch event to the gesture recognition module; and determining whether to provide a second touch event to the gesture recognition module based at least in part on the gesture type. |
