<p>Device for cooking food (10) includes a food securing element (20), such as a skewer (20), for securing food to be cooked. A conveying element (30) is provided for moving the food securing element (20) relative to a heating device (40), such as a gas or electric grill (40), the conveying element (30) moving at a predetermined rate of speed. Heating device (40) may be provided for heating and cooking food on the food securing element (20), and a turning device (60) is provided for turning the food securing element (20) once as food securing element moves relative to the heating device (40), such as a gas burner. The turning device (60) may be a rotating device which automatically turns the food securing element (20) once in the range of 150 to 210 degrees, and, indeed, exactly 180 degrees, depending on the intended use.</p> |
