PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a range of a feedback amount in control of an electric motor and employ the range as a threshold value of determining existence or non-existence of abnormality (e.g., step-out) of the electric motor.SOLUTION: An electric motor control device comprises: a feedback amount calculation part 1022 for calculating a feedback amount [B] by using a deviation between a current [i] and a command value [i] of the current or between an air-gap flux [λ] and a command value [λ] of the air-gap flux; and a voltage error calculation part 1025 for calculating a variation range of a voltage error [&Dgr;v] between a voltage value and a voltage command [v] based on a voltage equation of the electric motor. Existence or non-existence of the step-out of the electric motor is determined by comparing the variation range of the voltage error [&Dgr;v] and the feedback amount [B]. |
