PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium that has a lustrous surface and prevents the occurrence of cracking in an ink-receiving layer.SOLUTION: A recording medium includes a base material and an ink-receiving layer. The ink-receiving layer includes inorganic particles with an average primary particle diameter of 50 nm or less, particles with an average primary particle diameter of 1 μm or more and a binder. The arithmetic mean roughness of the surface of the recording medium defined by JIS B 0601: 2001 is 0.8 μm or more. The inorganic particle includes a group represented by General Formula (1). |
