METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING TEMPERED GLASS PRODUCT

The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a tempered glass product and, more particularly, to a method for manufacturing a tempered glass product comprising the steps of: manufacturing the tempered glass by cutting an original sheet of tempered glass at a rate of 1 to 1,500 mm/min while ejecting water (H2O) to the original sheet of tempered glass at an ejection pressure of 100 to 800 Bar together with cutting particles of 120 to 600 meshes; and chamfering the cut surface of the tempered glass by bringing a heat source, which has a temperature equal to or higher than the annealing point of the tempered glass and below the evaporation point thereof, into contact with the cut surface of the tempered glass in an area of 0.001 to 2.5 mm2 and then moving the heat source at a rate of 5 to 300 mm/sec. The method can quickly cut the original sheet of tempered glass with high productivity and without defects, and chamfering under specific conditions can remove micro crack portion generated on the cut surface and endow high strength.
