PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seating state determination device which does not need difficult maintenance, has an inexpensive structure, and is less likely to cause false recognition.SOLUTION: A seating state determination device is used to determine a seating state in a seat 10 at a vehicle including the seat 10 and a seat belt mechanism 20. The seating state determination device includes: a displacement sensor 50 capable of detecting vertical displacement of each S shaped spring 44 supporting a cushion pad 30 relative to a support frame 42 supporting the cushion pad 30 of the seat 10; a belt tension sensor 60 capable of detecting tension of a belt 21 of the seat belt mechanism 20; and a determination processing part 70 which determines the seating state on the seat 10 on the basis of the displacement detected by the displacement sensor 50 and the tension detected by the belt tension sensor 60 and outputs an output signal indicating the seating state. |
