PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transverse flux motor capable of suppressing occurrence of noise.SOLUTION: A transverse flux motor comprises: a rotor having an outer peripheral surface alternately formed with magnetic poles different from each other in a circumferential direction with a rotating shaft as a center; annular armature coils with the rotating shaft as the center; a plurality of stator cores having a pair of magnetic pole sections in an axial direction of the rotating shaft and individually causing the pair of magnetic pole sections to face the magnetic poles formed on the outer peripheral surface with gaps with respect to the outer peripheral surface of the rotor and to be arranged around the rotating shaft; and support members being annular support members covering the rotor around the rotating shaft, including the armature coils therein, having a plurality of protrusion portions having protruded shapes around the rotating shaft in the axial direction, the plurality of protrusion portions being oppositely arranged on the outer peripheral surface with predetermined air gaps, and having two protrusion portions adjacent to each other around the rotating shaft supporting at least a part of the pair of magnetic pole sections therebetween. |
