PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relatively simply structured furnace width measuring device capable of being inserted into a high-temperature furnace and stably measuring the furnace width by suppressing the temperature rise of a distance meter and also to provide a coke pusher equipped with the furnace width measuring device.SOLUTION: A furnace width measuring device 50 is inserted into a furnace and measures a distance between facing furnace walls, comprising: a distance meter 71 for measuring the distance between the facing furnace walls; an inner vessel 51 for receiving the distance meter 71; an outer vessel 55 for receiving the inner vessel 51; and cooling gas supplying means 59 for supplying a cooling gas into the inside of the inner vessel 51. Gas passages 64 are provided between the inner vessel 51 and the outer vessel 55, and an exhaust hole 52 in communication with the gas passages 64 is provided in the inner vessel 51. The cooling gas supplied into the inside of the inner vessel 51 by the cooling gas supplying means 59 is discharged to the outside by way of the gas passages 64.
