PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clinical examination device capable of ensuring and improving dry performance within reduced dry time.SOLUTION: A clinical examination device of an embodiment washes a reaction vessel containing reaction liquid and dries the reaction vessel by a nozzle for drying after analyzing components of the reaction liquid. The nozzle for drying includes a rod body; a hollow part; a suction mechanism; and ventilation grooves. The rod body includes a quadrangular prism and has a distal end surface and a proximal end surface on two longitudinal ends of the quadrangular prism, respectively. The hollow part is provided within the quadrangular prism and communicates with an outside on the proximal end surface. The suction mechanism draws the liquid contained in the reaction vessel from the outside of the quadrangular prism into the hollow part when the quadrangular prism is fitted into the reaction vessel from the distal end surface thereof and pressures of the outside and the hollow part are reduced to negative pressures. The ventilation grooves are provided in four corners of the quadrangular prism from the distal end surface through the proximal end surface, respectively and each have a generally fan-shaped cross-section.
