<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which the existence probability of an electron in a hydrogen atom is displayed only one-dimensionally, and there is no stereoscopic display and no plane display.SOLUTION: In the display method of the three-dimensional existence probability of an electron in a hydrogen atom, the wave function on a hydrogen atom s orbital is denoted withΨ, and distances from the center are denoted with rto rin ascending sequence. On each spherical surface of n concentric spheres 1 having these radii, a region 4 of an area proportional to the existence probability rΨat the corresponding distance is displayed distinctly from others. The deviation in the radius direction unavoidable in the conventional one-dimensional display is removed. This existence probability can contribute to modification and development of the quantum mechanics.</p> |
