In order to supply lubrication oil to an electric traction motor (30) and a power transmission mechanism (e.g., transmission (40)) for transmitting an output thereof to a wheel (3), an electric vehicle, such as an electric motorcycle (1), for example, includes a main oil passage (68) connected to an oil supply source, a first oil passage, such as a lower hose (71), for guiding oil therefrom to an oil cooler (28), and a second oil passage, such as a transmission side oil passage (73), which branches from the main oil passage (68) and supplies oil to at least the power transmission mechanism. The oil can be appropriately supplied to the lubricated portion of the traction drive system of a vehicle or the cooled portion, such as the traction motor (30) or the inverter (27), upon each request thereof, and the capacity of the oil cooler (28) can be reduced. |
