<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing agent for a liquid crystal dropping method which can suppress occurrence of gap unevenness between substrates, and to provide a vertical conduction material and a liquid crystal display element produced by using the sealing agent for the liquid crystal dropping method. <P>SOLUTION: The sealing agent for the liquid crystal dropping method contains a curable resin and a thermosetting agent.
