<p>A deployment device comprises a support frame 12 provided with buoyancy tanks 20, the buoyancy of which is adjustable. The support frame is adapted for use in carrying and/or deployment of a payload. The frame may define an opening of dimensions greater than the payload so that the payload can be introduced through the opening and then supported beneath the frame. The payload may comprise a cable wound onto a reel which may be rotatably supported by a mounting releasably securable to the frame.</p> |
