<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve assembling properties of a telescopic boom, to make an end member of an inner boom light in weight while holding an upper slide pad in a suitable place at a base end of the inner boom where the upper slide pad can come into slide-contact with an inner surface of an upper part of an outer boom, and to secure the rigidity of the base end of the inner boom. <P>SOLUTION: A telescopic boom 2 has a fitting part 28e projecting from a base end of an upper piece 26 formed at a base end of a lower piece 28 of an inner boom body 22, and an end member 24 includes: a first vertical plate 31 which is arranged to face the base end of the upper piece 26 and welded to its base end; a second vertical plate 32 which is fitted in the fitting part 28e while spaced apart from and arranged in parallel with the first vertical plate 31, and welded to an inner surface of the fitting part 28e; an axial connection part 33 which connects the vertical plates 31, 32 to each other; and pad storage parts 24a, 24b which are provided between first vertical plate upper sides 31d, 31i and second vertical plate upper sides 32d, 32i positioned above the fitting part 28e, and store an upper slide pad 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
