<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system in which an information processing device can provide another information processing device with data that can be used by an application even if the application is not being executed.SOLUTION: A CPU of an information processing device executes communication partner search processing for searching for a communication partner (another game device) (step S22). The CPU verifies received data content (step S30). When the information processing device supports a communication data type indicated by the identification information included in the received data, the CPU compares application identification information stored in a radio communication module with application identification information included in the received data (step S33). When both pieces of application identification information coincide with each other, the CPU notifies the main body that another game device is discovered that has exchange data corresponding to the coincided application identification information (step S36). Then, the CPU executes transmission and reception of the exchange data with the other game device.</p> |
