<p>Provided are a colorant represented by the following Formula (I) which is excellent in a color intensity and a lightfastness, a microcapsule pigment prepared by using the above colorant, and an ink composition for writing instruments:
[in Formula (I) described above, X and Y represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or a halogen atom; and X and Y may be identical or different from each other, provided that a case in which both of X and Y are a hydrogen atom is excluded]. The above microcapsule pigment is characterized by comprising at least the colorant comprising the leuco dye represented by Formula (I) described above, a developer and a chromic temperature controller, and the ink composition for writing instruments is characterized by comprising the above microcapsule pigment.</p> |
