<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the sealing performance of an intake and exhaust valve provided in a water supply pipe, when closing the valve. <P>SOLUTION: A valve chamber 114 having a seat 120 is formed in a valve body 110 of the intake and exhaust valve 100, and a spherical float valve 130 is arranged therein. A float valve contact part 160 as a valve seat of a seal member 150 has wavy minute protrusions 162 for reliable valve closing operation between the float valve 130 and itself.
