<p>This focal plane shutter is provided with: a substrate having a substrate opening; a rear surface plate that has a rear surface plate opening and forms a blade chamber between the rear surface plate and the substrate; a curtain that is housed in the blade chamber and that opens and closes the substrate opening and the rear surface plate opening; an arm that drives the curtain and has a base end that is reciprocatably supported with respect to the substrate; and a first and second linking pin that link the curtain and the arm. The second linking pin is positioned between the first linking pin and the base end of the arm, and the height of the second linking pin from the surface of the arm is greater than the height of the first linking pin from the surface of the arm.</p> |
