What is described is a lid for a toilet seat with a lid body (1) which is produced from plastic and which has on its outer side a layer with a pictorial illustration (4). In order to provide advantageous design conditions, it is proposed that the layer with the pictorial representation (4) comprises a picture carrier (2) consisting of an embossed metal sheet (3) with an embossed, peripheral bead provided in the edge region and that the picture carrier (2) is adhesively bonded to the lid body (1) using a plastic adhesive (5) which fills the cavities, in particular of the peripheral bead, formed by the embossing (6) of the metal sheet (3). |
