The invention relates to a disk brake for a motor vehicle, comprising a brake application device, preferably a rotary brake lever (9), at least one spindle unit with one threaded piston each, and at least one wear adjustment device having an adjusting device, the adjusting device being coupled to the brake application device, preferably to the rotary brake lever (9), on the drive side by means of a drive having an actuator (9b) and to the at least one spindle unit of the disk brake on the output side. The actuator (9b) comprises an actuation contour (9c) which is arranged on the actuator (9b) at an angle (α) and which engages with a contoured portion of a drive element of the adjusting device. The invention further relates to a method for operating a wear adjustment device of a disk brake and a device for carrying out said method.
