Disclosed are a mobile terminal and a control method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the mobile terminal comprises: a projection unit arranged in a body and projecting image information; a photographing unit recognizing records of a writing operation recorded in a paper medium, and a specific sign related to a selected area by the writing operation; and a control unit executing a control command corresponding to the specific sign related to the selected area if the specific sign is matched with the predetermined sign, and controlling the projection unit to project image information corresponding to the execution result on the area in which the specific sign is recorded. |
