An image display system 1 including a remote electronic device 3 such as a mobile telephone, and a digital photo frame 2. The system is intended for use in a vulnerable persons home, such as someone suffering from dementia such as Alzheimers disease. The photo frame includes a display 20, a sensor 21 for detecting the presence of a vulnerable viewer of the display, and a transceiver 22. The remote device includes a transceiver 30. The remote device is operable to send image data to the photo frame for presentation by the display; and the photo frame is configured on detection of a viewer by the sensor to send automatically a notification to the remote device that image data has been viewed. Independent claims relate to software and a method for using the system. An image display device & a remote electronic device are also claimed separately. |
