<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out rigid and stable attachment of a valve rod cover of a fixed length or a multiple telescopic type protecting a valve rod without carrying out special machining modification or changing work to an existing valve rod. <P>SOLUTION: A connection skirt part 7 of the valve rod cover 1 is directly pressed and connected to an existing handle fixing nut 9 of a center part of a valve operation handle 102. Substantially strip like outline flat parts 16 are formed in a peripheral direction of the connection skirt part 7, an inner side size of the skirt part 7 is substantially adjusted to an outer size of a nut apex angle, and the connection skirt part 7 is positioned and attached to an outer periphery surface part or an apex angle part of the nut. A method and a structure for connecting and attaching the valve rod cover to the nut is provided by including a taper ring and a ring 12 with a screw, or a fastening and fixing the connection skirt part 7 from an outer periphery. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
