<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce damage to a fixing roller caused by an edge of a sheet, and prevent deformation of a sheet. <P>SOLUTION: A fixing device includes a fixing roller that is a pair of rollers 50A and 50B that come into pressure-contact with each other to form a nip N, hold a sheet with the nip N and rotate to convey the sheet, and thereby fix an image formed on the sheet. The fixing roller has at least one of the pair of rollers 50A and 50B, the rotation shaft of which being arranged inclined to a width direction of a sheet T; and the nip N is formed in such a way that the tip of the sheet T that is conveyed by the fixing roller and the nip entrance Ne of the fixing roller are placed substantially parallel to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
