<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to surely and safely perform remote control of a home electric appliance which generates noise influencing radio communication. <P>SOLUTION: A washing machine 2 measures noise intensity in a load operation condition of unwanted radio wave sources such as a motor 13 and an electromagnetic valve 14 of the washing machine 2. When radio means 11 has received a radio control message from an external control device 1, the washing machine 2 calculates an S/N by measuring the radio wave intensity of the radio control message and comparing it with the noise intensity, and if the S/N is not satisfactory compared with a preset threshold value, discards the radio control message. This method makes it possible to reliably perform radio communication even for a home electric appliance that may generate an unwanted radio wave obstructing radio communication by load operation, and provides a way that can be widely applied to a system in which an external control device can safely and surely perform remote control of a home electric appliance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
