<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that integrated diagnosis is difficult when many indexes which are used for diagnosis of spine disease on the basis of X-ray images are individually obtained. <P>SOLUTION: An arithmetic processing part 4 has an X-ray image display means 20 and indicates an X-ray image from the side of the spine on a monitor device. An outline setting means 22 enables an operator to set quadrangles as outlines of vertebral bodies on the X-ray image and displays the outlines of the vertebral bodies with the outlines superposed on the image of the vertebral bodies. A fracture index calculation means 24 calculates several predetermined indexes of determination of fracture of vertebral bodies on the basis of the length of sides of the quadrangle corresponding to the anterior margin and the posterior margin of the vertebral body image.
