The present invention relates to a rivet for fastening a blind. The rivet comprises a screw and a sleeve. The screw includes a handling element, a breaking groove, a head separated from the handling element by the breaking groove, and a screw part. The sleeve includes a collar part and a tubular shank part having an inner screw part intended to be combined with the screw part of the screw. The handling element has a first handling part to guide the introduction of the rivet within a setting tool, and a second handling part to transmit torque. Two handling parts are separated by a blocking part capable of limiting axial movement of the rivet within the setting tool. Moreover, the present invention relates to a setting nose for installing the rivet and a setting method. The present invention can be applied to an assembly of an aircraft structure. |
