<p>A device suitable for removing lice comprises a body 3, a suction apparatus in the form of impeller (11 fig.6) and a control mechanism for controlling the suction apparatus. A comb 7 is attached to the body proximate to the suction apparatus. The device preferably comprises an energy source, such as a battery (5, fig.6) contained within the body. A collection means in form of bag (13, fig.7) may be provided to collect debris removed from the hair. The bag (13, fig.7) may be disposable or reusable, and it allows air but not debris to pass through it. The comb 7 may be removed and replaced by an alternative comb of a different size.</p> |
