<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that CSD is stopped to produce bluish white smoke caused by a water temperature of a cooling water even though the temperature of an engine does not reach a reference water temperature due to a time lag between water temperature of the cooling water after start of the CSD and the temperature of an engine, since switching between start and stop of the CSD is carried out at a prescribed reference water temperature of the cooling water although an engine such as a diesel engine is provided with low temperature spark advance mechanism, namely CSD, in order to prevent the occurrence of bluish white smoke or the like during low temperature start. <P>SOLUTION: The engine 51 comprises an electronic governor mechanism 7, the CSD 30, a temperature sensor 54 and a controller 53, and starts or stops the CSD 30 in response to the water temperature W of the cooling water by the controller 53. The controller 53 contains a control configuration capable of separately setting a start reference water temperature Won taken as a reference value for starting the CSD 30, and a stop reference water temperature Woff taken as a reference value to stop the CSD 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
