<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that an effect of variations in head attitudes is large during scanning and uneven density occurs due to the deterioration of landing accuracy at a part where intervals between recording nozzle arrays of used ink colors are large. <P>SOLUTION: When one mode is selected among multiple modes where combinations of ink used for recording are different, recording is performed using the recording nozzle arrays by minimizing the intervals of the recording nozzle arrays to reduce effect of the variations in the head attitude during scanning.
