<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine abnormal conditions of the operational state of an electromagnet device without using a stroke sensor. <P>SOLUTION: An operation monitoring system of an electromagnet comprises an ammeter 6 and a voltmeter 7 which measure the current value and voltage value of a closing coil 21, and an ammeter 8 and a voltmeter 9 which measure the current value and voltage value of a release coil 22. When the closing coil 21 is excited for a closing operation, exciting current characteristics of the closing coil 21 and induction voltage characteristics of the release coil 22 are acquired by using measurement values of the ammeter 6 and the voltmeter 9. The operational state of the electromagnet device is measured by detecting a plurality of feature points from the characteristics, and thereby the abnormal conditions of the operational state of the electromagnet device is determined. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
