<p>The invention relates to a fuel supply system for the internal combustion engine (3.1) of a motor vehicle, in particular of a military vehicle, comprising at least one fuel tank (1.1, 1.4) for storing the fuel and at least one cooling device (2) separate from the engine cooling for cooling the fuel. The at least one cooling device comprises a compressor (2.1), a condenser (2.3), and at least one first evaporator (2.9). In order to guarantee the mobility of a corresponding vehicle even at extremely high ambient temperatures (e.g., during the use of a combat tank in the desert), the first evaporator (2.9) is integrated in the fuel tank (1.1, 1.4) according to the invention, such that not only the fuel flowing through the fuel lines is cooled but rather the entire fuel can be cooled evenly and has a relatively low specifiable temperature when the fuel is removed from the particular fuel tank (1.1, 1.4). For that purpose, an electrically controllable valve (2.8, 2.5, 2.10) is arranged upstream of the at least one evaporator (2.9, 2.6, 2.11), such that the at least one fuel tank (1.1, 1.4) and/or an interior (4) of the vehicle can be cooled in a temperature-dependent manner by means of a measuring and control device (6).</p> |
