The controlling method involves providing the interfaces (12,13) for communicating with a hand tool machine (1). The characterizing data of the hand tool machine or data about an operating procedure of the hand tool machine is received. The data includes information about a load profile of the hand tool machine. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a battery for a hand tool machine; and (2) a system for hand tool machine.
