An electromagnetic stabilizer comprises:—a first and a second plurality of electromagnets (15, 16) aligned along a transversal direction (100′) orthogonal to a feeding direction (100) of the strip (M), the first and second plurality of electromagnets (15, 16) being mutually arranged in a position mirroring the theoretical feeding plane (50); each of said electromagnets (15, 16) comprises:—a core (17) provided with at least a first and a second pole (18′, 18″);—a first and a second coil (3′, 3″) wound about the first and second poles (18′, 18″), respectively;—two power sources (4′ 4″) to supply the coils (3′, 3″), respectively, so as to generate a first and a second magnetic field (T, 7″), respectively,—at least one concentrator made of ferromagnetic material connected to the core and arranged so as to make the first and the second coil (3′, 3″) magnetically independent of each other. |
