<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Japanese-style room floor structure and an airtight repair method, capable of suppressing the intrusion of outside air into a Japanese-style room or outflow to the underfloor of air inside the Japanese-style room and discharging moisture to the underfloor. <P>SOLUTION: On rough floor plates 5 spread and arranged with a gap, a sheet member 6 having moisture permeability and an air flow cut-off property is spread. At the end edge of a range where tatami mats 7 are to be spread all over, the sheet member is raised along the vertical surface of members to be abutted to the end face of the tatami mat, a column 9, a tatami setting frame 10 and a sill 12 for instance, and is fixed to the side faces of the column, the tatami setting frame and the sill, etc., with an adhesive tape 15. Gaps 13, 14 are present at the lower part of the tatami setting frame or the sill provided on the rough floor plates, the end edge of the sheet member is tentatively pushed into the gaps, then it is inverted and pulled out from the gaps, and the pulled-out upper end part is raised along the tatami setting frame or the sill and fixed.
