<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress such a tendency that an axial direction distribution of heat output has a bottom peak in an outer peripheral domain. <P>SOLUTION: A center domain 71 and the outer peripheral domain 72 are formed on a core 11 of a boiling water reactor loaded with fuel assemblies in a substantially cylindrical space. In the center domain 71, high concentration high gadolinia fuel assemblies 1, high concentration low gadolinia fuel assemblies 2, and low concentration fuel assemblies 4 are mainly arrayed. In the outer peripheral domain 72, fuel assemblies 3 for high concentration output distribution adjustment and fuel assemblies 5 for low concentration output distribution adjustment are mainly arrayed. The fuel assembly 3 for high concentration output distribution adjustment and the fuel assembly 5 for low concentration output distribution adjustment have respectively a smaller ratio of an infinite multiplication factor on the downside more than a prescribed height to an infinite multiplication factor on the upside more than the prescribed height, in comparison with the high concentration high gadolinia fuel assembly 1, and the high concentration low gadolinia fuel assembly 2, or the low concentration fuel assembly 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
