<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new transfer technique whereby tea leaves can be surely transferred behind a cutting blade without dropping when a cutting operation is carried out at higher speeds. <P>SOLUTION: A transfer duct 6 for transferring picked tea branches and leaves A to a predetermined position is provided. A back wind W is blown into the transfer duct 6 from behind the cutting blade so as to transfer the tea branches and leaves A. At a transfer starting portion 35 of the transfer duct 6, a sweeping element 8 for feeding the tea branches and leaves A into the deep side of the transfer duct 6 and sending them on the back wind W is provided above the cutting blade 22. The sweeping element 8 includes a sweeping body 83 comprising a beltlike member. The sweeping body has an air slit 831 formed from a sweeping tip 832 up to a portion of the beltlike member toward a rotating shaft 81, so that while individual sweeping pieces 830 are formed in such a condition as to be separated from one another, the sweeping pieces 830 are formed in such a condition as to be integrally connected to each other at a portion where the air slit 831 is not formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
