The present invention relates to a novel pseudo compound having similar structural characteristics to natural ceramide 1, and a pharmaceutical composition and a cosmetic composition comprising a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or solvate thereof as an active ingredient. The composition comprising the compound of the present invention as an active ingredient has excellent effects in improving skin barrier functions and effects in alleviating inflammatory skin diseases, thus having improved skin barrier functions and excellent effects in enhancing skin moisture.
