PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which, although a drain-source current through an NMOS transistor or PMOS transistor can be limited up to a constant current by the regulation of a gate-source voltage, the current flow cannot be limited up to the constant current if the current flows in an unexpected direction.SOLUTION: Two MOS transistors whose drain-source current is limited by the regulation of a gate-source voltage are connected in series. A pair of MOS transistors of opposite conductivity types is connected such that non-gate electrodes connected to gate-source voltage regulation circuits are oriented in the same direction. Transistors of the same conductivity type are connected such that non-gate electrodes are oriented in opposite directions. A current flow can thus be limited irrespective of the direction of the flow. |
