<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate attachment/detachment of a harvesting bag for storing a harvest while making vertically turnable a hanging implement for hanging the harvesting bag. <P>SOLUTION: This root vegetable harvester includes, at a traveling vehicle body, a pull-up transfer apparatus 11 pulling out and conveying vegetables in the field; a sorting conveyor part 4 conveying the harvest with stems and leaves cut off after conveyed by the pull-up transfer apparatus 11, diagonally upward, the sorting conveyor part 4 being provided to be vertically turnable at its terminal; and a hanging arm 51 for hanging a storage bag 59 from the terminal of the sorting conveyor part 4.
