<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve tire production efficiency by shortening PCI process time while suppressing tire deformation due to contraction of an organic fiber cord and maintaining uniformity. <P>SOLUTION: The post cure inflator includes: a tire hold means for holding a vulcanized pneumatic tire in an inflation state; and a cooling means for using cooling water to cool down side wall parts at an upper and lower parts of the pneumatic tire held in the inflation state. The cooling means is provided with: a ring-shaped recessed part which has a hollow cylindrical shape that relatively moves outside and inside in a tire shaft core direction so as to move close to or away from the side wall parts, and forms an airtight space in a ring shape that is continuously formed in a tire circumferential direction between itself and an outer surface of the side wall by coming into contact with the outer surface of the side wall parts; and a pair of upper and lower abutting bodies that have a pouring port for pouring cooling water in the airtight space and a discharge port for discharging the poured cooling water from the airtight space. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
