<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a demolition method of a towering structure capable of safely demolishing a towering structure such as a regenerator for a blast furnace stove in a short time and at a low cost without using a large-sized crane. <P>SOLUTION: In a method of demolishing a regenerative furnace 1 by successively and repeatedly performing demolition work of horizontally cutting the regenerative furnace 1 as a towering structure to be demolished and then removing a cut block from a lower part to an upper part of the regenerative furnace 1, a plurality of expandable heavy object lifting devices 2 are installed around the regenerative furnace 1, the heavy object lifting devices 2 are connected to each other by an upper beam 3A, a main beam 3B and a lower beam 3C, a jack 5 is attached to the heavy object lifting device 2 through the main beam 3B, and a step of cutting the lower part of the regenerative furnace 1, lifting the regenerative furnace 1 above a cut part by the jack 5, removing the cut block, lifting down the regenerative furnace 1 by the jack 5, cutting the lower part of the regenerative furnace 1 and removing the cut block is repeatedly performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
