<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide excellent-handleability adsorbent composition which has high performance to adsorb various kinds of pollutants and is easy in post-treatment, and to provide an adsorbent obtained by use of the same. <P>SOLUTION: This adsorbent composition essentially contains: at least one kind of adsorbing component selected from a group consisting of Prussian blue, zeolite, and active carbon; a high molecular compound soluble in water at 0-100°C; and water.
