Cooking oven control system |
摘要 |
A control system for an oven including a plurality of heating elements positioned within the cooking cavity includes a temperature sensor configured to detect an air temperature within the cooking cavity, a user interface for receiving a desired temperature set point command, and a controller operatively coupled to the temperature sensor and user interface. The controller is configured to determine a power splitting ratio between the first and second heating elements based on user-specified cooking mode and/or type of food being cooked, determine a total power command signal based on a determined error value between the detected cavity air temperature and the desired temperature set point command, and adjust a power level of each of the first and second heating elements based on the total power command and the power splitting ratio. |

1. A control system for an oven comprising a body defining a cooking cavity and a plurality of heating elements for heating items in the cooking cavity, the control system comprising:
a temperature sensor configured to detect an air temperature within the cooking cavity; a user interface operative to receive a desired cooking temperature from a user; and a controller operatively coupled to the temperature sensor and the user interface, the controller comprising a memory in communication with a processor, the memory comprising program instructions for execution by the processor to:
determine a power splitting ratio between each of the plurality of heating elements;determine a power command signal based on a calculated error value between the detected cooking cavity air temperature and the desired cooking temperature;adjust the power splitting ratio to prevent a total power consumed by the plurality of heating elements from exceeding a pre-determined value;calculate a power control signal for each of the plurality of heating elements based on both the power command signal and the adjusted power splitting ratio; andadjust a power level of each of the plurality of heating elements based on the respective power control signals. |
