1. An amplifier for a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) device, the MRI device including a determination unit, the amplifier comprising:
a first module including at least a first element; a second module including at least a second element, wherein the at least the first element in the first module has a relatively higher frequency of failure rate than the at least the second element in the second module; a back-up module that is used as a back-up in the event of a failure of the first element in the first module leading to abnormal operation of the first module; a switching module, responsive to the determination unit determining that the first module is not operating normally, for performing a switching operation to switch operations of the first module to the back-up module.
