Stylus based profile management

摘要

A stylus can be used with a computing device and send an identifier to the computing device. The computing device can send the identifier of the stylus to a server and the server can provide the user's profile information to the computing device. The user can interact with the computing device using the stylus and any changes made to the profile can be sent back to and stored by the server. When the user uses the stylus with a second computing device the updated profile information can be sent to the second computing device.

1. A computing system comprising:
at least one processor; and one or more memories comprising instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, at least cause the computing system to:
receive an identifier of a stylus from a first computing device, wherein the first computing device is configured to send the identifier of the stylus to the computing system in response to the stylus being in proximity with the first computing device,send profile information to the first computing device in response to receiving the identifier of the stylus from the first computing device and determining that the profile information is associated with the identifier of the stylus received from the first computing device, wherein the first computing device is configured to permit a user to interact with the profile information until the stylus is no longer in proximity with the first computing device,update the profile information based at least in part on input information received from the first computing device, wherein the first computing device is configured to receive one or more inputs from the user and to send the input information to the computing system,receive the identifier of the stylus from a second computing device, wherein the second computing device is configured to send the identifier of the stylus to the computing system in response to the stylus being in proximity with the second computing device, andsend the updated profile information to the second computing device in response to receiving the identifier of the stylus from the second computing device, wherein the second computing device is configured to permit a user to interact with the profile information until the stylus is no longer in proximity with the second computing device.
